I didn't quite die like a normal clan, a lot of people could see that from the events of last night. Maybe I should've known this would happen when I made a decision on what I was going to do, even if it's something I felt I was very right in doing what I did.
I'm going to save the drama and simply let it die, for good, as I will make no further attempts to bring it back up and I will not tolerate anyone trying to pull anything off themselves. Without me, the clan died last night, and without me, it won't come back.
All I'll say though is, in the year and a half, we had 3 different risings. But we did good.

Didnt see alot of you, apart from you dracone, you were in my first ever trem game :p
I have no idea what happened "last night" but im sad to see the tag die, it was one of the clans i aspired to try and join if i ever got good enough.

Also, I've suggested that to Otic, but neither he or 3of12 wish to lead a clan. Almost no NT members had the will to lead their own clan.
However, what I do know is that it does create opportunities for the clan scene. About 18 people without clans who are capable of bringing some SERIOUSLY positive shit, in some way or another, to any clan they join. Although it would be fantastic and I'd be more than pleased to see them group up and do something to continue a similar group, it doesn't appear like that will be happening.

I would call it abandoned, you left your e-buddies/friends to join a clan to be "the dominant clan in trem", lol ouch. It's especially shitty thinking back how 3of12 and K-otic joined another clan, then you cried and they came running back. You didn't even give those guys a heads-up. Smooth. 8)

I think the point of a game has been lost on many of you.
Dracone has neither betrayed anyone nor owes anyone. He's free to do what gives him the most fun in a game. I'm sad to see NT go, but as someone said a long time ago: Shit happens. Move on.

I'm not saying that what you did was wrong, as I've abandoned 2 good clans already. But just look at the {V} roster. Some of the best NT members joined it, but the rest of the NT members are left choosing between clanlessness or a clan that they wouldn't prefer over NT. I wouldn't be surprised if the remaining top active NT guys join {V} soon.
My point is that people tend to join the best clan they can get in, which hurts competition drastically (quickedit: Ozzy being a notable exception). Just imagine the NFL draft being scrapped. Any team can pick up any player willing to join, and any player can join any team willing to take him. Games would become jokes, and winners predetermined. In Trem, {V} is going to have to scavenge for every bit of enjoyment that can be obtained from winning as easily as Lance Armstrong versus Mr. Semi-pro. But how would I know? Maybe pwning n00bs is a blast. There is one thing I do know, on the other hand: knowing beforehand that you WILL lose the scrim is not fun. It's no coincidence that the top clans scrim 10X more than the worst clans.

I've recently heard a lot of players using this line of reasoning, and quite frankly, it's annoying.
This is a game.
We play it for fun.
We have fun together in the same clan.
We speak to each other outside of the game (AIM, IRC, etc.)
Life is not about tremulous.
Calm the fuck down. Seriously.
If you think we're too good (which I don't really believe), stop complaining and do something about it. And no, that doesn't mean killing {V}, Ozzy. Develop your own talent. It's not like everyone in {V} cheated to become good players. We started as bad players, too.
You guys seem to have major self-esteem issues. Have a little more confidence!

If you're friends outside of Tremulous, and Tremulous doesn't matter, why must you clan together in Tremulous. I'm not on the same sports teams as all of my friends.
Not many people will try to get better, because they are truly ones who accept it as "just a game" when skill doesn't matter. None of you saw it this way entirely, because just about your entire roster has trained with me, trying to get better.
Yarou you have complained to me in the past that you aren't what you wish you were, and even admitted envy for legends of the past, and included Orc. I sympathize with this, and I think we should be friends, but it's difficult because I openly admit that I care to be good, and you deny caring.
You may see it as just a game now, but I don't think you always did, and are just using that as a rationalizing for the teamstacking you are doing with the clan scene. Do we glitch build and decon and ban players for no reason, with the same rationale? You might, but most of us don't.
I will be the first, no matter what ridicule it brings me, to say that I care about my personal skill in Tremulous as well as the balance of the clan scene. It will always be my mission to defeat the clan that everyone is joining (hopefully showing others that there is a way to reach the top other than joining it) I'm sure there are others out there who feel similar to me. If not, I will fight alone. :)
No hatreds towards any of you. I feel hurt by some that have shown me I'm not as close to them as I thought, but I don't hate any of you.
