Title: Dark players and buildings on map with ambient light

Hello.

I have problems with dark players and buildings on Paint 9. Here is screenshot.

I had this problem on some maps, but not all.
I used only meta surface compilation parameter, nothing else.

Btw. i was looking on forum for this topic, but i don't found anything useful.

P.S. Paint 9 will be released on 31st December 2008.

Dont use ambient lighting, it wont light models. You need light entities/shaders.

Ambient lighting shouldn't really be used ever. If your map is too dark, add more lights.

If you feel compelled to use an ambient value, don't use more than 10, or else things just start to look out of place.

Use a light_junior to light up the lightgrid(entity lighting).
