Title: ubuntu.. game leaves full screen randomly

I have Ubuntu 8.04..

Ok.. I just downloaded the game and it looks fun.. I can play for 10-15min then the game just exits full screen into a small window... at this point i have no control over the game or the OS, so i just have to restart X..

any ideas on how to fix this or what the issue is? Thank you for your time..

Also press the ~ or ^ key to bring down console. In which case you regain control over your desktop.

I had this problem on Ubuntu(Gnome), I think it disappeared when I removed the clock applet from the taskbar.

Using ubuntu 8.10. Never happened to me.
