i have a server, and i keep trying to set it up so that it starts with ulbp, but for some reason it always starts wit normal bps. here is my server.cfg

ok ty i followed what that said, and i put in a line in my server.cfg to use the rotation1, and i went over to my server and typed !restart. it said this:

What happened to people starting normal servers before they try to add all this crap to Tremulous?
unlimited build points
"funny" layouts
no reac hop
etc.
Just try playing Tremulous as it was meant to be played. ::)

that is the normal part,
but below that is where it gets weird, i dont get why it does that, and i dont have a mapconfig, do i need it?

I don't see why we should be expected to trouble shoot someone else's buggy shit.
If you want to run buggy and untested code that was written by someone who obviously has no common sense, then that your problem, there are better threads for us to help in.

Oh, and truncate those retarded unprintable characters in your server name.

Happens when the map rotation is already named... e.g.,

Also, there's no such thing as "unlimited" BP. Just ridiculously high.
Set BPs to 7500 or whatever. It will work, the Tremulous client just won't display higher than 999 (and thus, displays 999)

Without mods to the source, of course. You could delete the program part that decrements bps.
