Title: Archangel's Server Hosting
Post by: Archangel on December 28, 2008, 05:09:58 am
Hello folks, I'm sure you all know me as the lovably asshole-ish forum troll. I'm here to offer stable server hosting for unbeatable prices!

All servers are hosted at Steadfast Communications in Chicago, IL (USA). The location offers decent pings for people all across the US.

A test IP you can ping is 89.46.37.204.

Each Trem server is allocated its own IP address, which means no funky ports, just the default, 30720. You also have full ssh access and FTP access to your server. You are allowed one process other than the Trem server (you may use IRC clients, ttymulous, etc)

I charge $1 base fee, plus 90c/slot, monthly. Billing is pro-rata (You pay however much for the first month based on when you bought, then full price on the first of the next month.)

Therefore, you can have: $10/mo for 10 slots, $19/mo for 20 slots, and so on. You configure your server yourself (I'll set it up and maintain it for $5/mo more)  PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A MINIMUM OF 6 SLOTS.

If you exceed your slot count, you will be warned once before your server is shut off.

You can get in touch with me here, or message me on AIM (the bagged milk) to purchase. I accept paypal.

I can personally vouch for the stability and integrity of this network.
A must-buy for any new server owner that is seeking a budget solution for whatever their needs may be.

The deal sounds good, but when I tried to connect to "89.46.37.204", I couldn't connect. (I was put on hold 24 times). Is the test server down right now?

It's not a server, it's just an IP you can ping (with ping in Command Prompt/Terminal)

Ah, my mistake then.

ICMP echo and in-game ping can be very different.

I'll be setting up a test server soon.
