Put it in your other base and it should.

Again, your choice in web browsing software is insufficient.

Or Opera or Safari.

Doesn't work on Safari. Thats just why I keep firefox for backup! Well anyway, the shotty and psaw crosshairs dont work, and I don't get anything where the crosshair is supposed to go. Does this work with 1.2 GPP, because that could be the problem, and it probly is. I unziped the pk3 and looked around and saw that the Psaw and the shotty both have additional mods to them other than the crosshair (there are script files for just those two). Considering this, I deleted the files and compressed the folder and renamed it to a pk3. But it didnt' work at all, so I'm figuring there is some other way to compile a PK3. How?

This is the reason why I was going to add those two browsers, but decided against it.

Don't mess around inside the .pk3 for now. Just rename the .zip to .pk3 and put it in fs_homepath/base. After that try /devmap atcs, where it should work. Don't expect it to work on other servers, the owner of the server you play on has to allow use of the .pk3 for it to work.

You're missing the point. Everything works but the shotgun and the psaw, which are conviniently the only two with scripts for them in the pk3. I want to modify the pk3 so it will work. I will try to make the shotgun and the psaw coded the same as the ones that do work, and recompile. How to recompile a pk3?

Ah, you just add everything that was in the .pk3 into a zip archive, and then rename it to a .pk3. So you did it right if that is all you did, it just isn't working for some other reason. To prove this, try to break one of the other crosshairs in the .pk3, if you succeed in breaking it, then the other two crosshairs must be misconfigured somehow.

Thats what I thought. Just to test if it worked, I unzipped the original and rezipped the new one without doing anything. (On a mac, right click/compress) After renaming it so it looks identical to the old one, I find that it doesn't work and the new one is a slightly bigger filesize than the original. Since everything else is the same, I'm assuming that Macs don't zip them properly to work in Trem. What program to use to zip the files so they work?
