FuN's 2 Years Anniversary Summer Project

FuN is a Clan that has over 20 members and has been working for over 2 years now. That means this summer will be Fun's 2 Year Anniversary. For this Anniversary we are doing the following to reward FuN for its great progress over these 2 years.

      1st FuN will be making its new mod, with new guns, new qvm and new skins + huds. So far we have been working on the Models and Hud. This topic will be telling you what the plan of the Mod is. All the models were made by me, RoK, and we have to give credit to the FuN Development Team for their help that still continues. So far we have added 9 new guns to tremulous.We have been getting problems from UV mapper pro, but we are getting that resolved.
     For our mod, there will be a new Human/Alien stage, Stage 4. Below we will show you what each stage's new features.
          1. Humans
               Stage 1:
                    normal (bullet) guns, no power guns (lgun)
                    no light Armour
                    no battery pack
                    normal buildables
               Stage 2:
                    new guns
                    light Armour
                    no battery pack
                    some buildables
               Stage 3:
                    some power guns
                    helmet
                    battery pack
                    2 guns
                    new buildables
               Stage 4:
                    with 2500 credits, you can buy a robot armour, with 2800
                    all power guns
          Aliens:
               Stage 1:
                    normal (dretch) aliens, no dragoon, only dretch and basi.
                    normal buildables
               Stage 2:
                    goon
                    adv. dretch
                    some buildables
               Stage 3:
                    adv. goon
                    adv. basi
                    new buildables
               Stage 4:
                    tyrant
                    with 11 evos, you can evolve into an adv.tyrant
     The aliens will have new moves. The advance granger will be able to roll, the dretch can jump higher, etc. We are adding new moves for the aliens because the new human guns shoot quicker and that causes more damage to the aliens, so the aliens must have a come back for teams to have an even chance of winning.
     In general, for helmets, you will be able to see other teammate's health, status, and name. The new damaged rendered skin idea will be when your health reaches to 90, little scars appear, when it reaches 80, blood will appear to poor from your scars and there will be more scars, when it reaches below 50 you get bloody and cut, if you reach below 30 you start to limp, as if your right leg was hurt, when you reach the medi-pad. Also with simple controls like recharge you will say (depending on your gender), "Reloading, COVER ME!".
     If your Reactor is destroyed, your helmet will no longer be able to be used. No more jet camping with our new Jetpack fuel idea, fuel is free, but you run out of fuel slowly if you use your jetpack, it would probably last you for 1 1/2 minutes. If your weapon is heavy, your jetpack slowly lowers. There will also be over heating for the flamer. If you use the flamer for longer then 20 seconds it heats up and you stop. The flamer will also use fuel, witch will last for 3 minutes. If a trapper attacks you, it will appear on where it attacked you, so there will be a new goo skin. The goo will not only slow you down but poison you, the advance basilisk's gas will not only spin you around but give you a blur vision, effecting your health. Normal grangers can go into a ball but not roll, this is their defense, but damage will be taken slowly. Also when a human spawns there will be blue particles that shoot around you, as if it was a transportation.

There will also be glowing effect and render effect to all skins.

What's the name of the mod again? Duke Nukem Forever 2? Tremulous 1.3? Firefly season nine?

3rd race? Not so bad. 3rd race of 'robots'? They seem almost identical to humans and due to their 'power weapons' will win almost every game. You need to think about the balance here. It will basically be robots and humans versus aliens. The poor aliens poison won't work on mechanics. Their tyrants will get sore after beating hunks of metal. The humans pathetic bullets will bounce off the robots skin. This 3rd race sounds supremely unbalanced. I thought you would just give trem a makeover and give it fancy pants models and graphics. Guess I was wrong.
+1 for the skins, they sound awesome. I am afraid that they will be hard to texture, but they sound awesome! I have one problem with the flamer however... A fuel limit actually makes them last longer. Oh, and nobody uses a 20 second flamer blast.

Why are they leaked?
Our mod will have new alien models and a new class! The robots.

The advance granger will be able to roll, the dretch can jump higher, etc.
Not a half bad idea. Line the BBoxes up while you're at it.
There also will be text bindings for players to say. For example, type and send a number and it will send a text and a speech. If you send, for example, 23, it would say as text and listening speech "I need backup".
Already in Trem SVN (or at least in Tremfusion...)
In your options you can change the gender, from male to female depending on your gender.

Finally making use of the sex cvar. Cool.
For example, if your armoury was destroyed, a text will appear in the center of the screen saying " We need an armoury!!! "
This ruins base rushes in scrims or when all the humans are out of their base.

If this is implemented properly it *might* be useful. It also hinders the use of jetpacks in scrims, however.

Forget the robots and incooperate many of Archangel's suggestions and it might turn out well. ;)

So aside from the fact theyre using energy weapons what the advantage to robots over humans?
and what kind of structures will their base have?

Oh boy. Let's totally ruin the game. Humans can barely survive in S1 WITH light armour. Let's get rid of it!

People can barely handle one gun, never mind two guns. You also need to clarify which 'power guns' and buildables.

No dragoon? What about marauder? Only a few people can handle a basi. It isn't easy.
