I think every oldtremfag has done that. Oh come on!

[EDIT] Building weird shit with unlimited BP is a common thing. I once made a chain reaction in karith, from eleroom to alien base... but I lost the demo, though.

Also... got bored and looked into my /trem folder and found some screenies

Note that the last one was created on 01/01/2010 00:50 :< I spent the night with a friend in there - which is kinda sad... if you think about it

Does this happen a lot? Because in my experience, getting bored on Skittles isn't difficult to accomplish.

well you have to be able to build without being interfered with... we call-vote kicked everyone who was actually trying to play

Skittles is actually ideal for this kind of spam building since you can join spectators even while your build timer hasnt gone down. So with a couple easy binds you can speed build like crazy... i did it with egg spam the round before we built the race track.

Wow... Remind me not to ever go on that server. Tho how about doing it in /devmap or a local server if you need some friends for playing/fooling around with?

Hey, it's a democracy.  If a majority of players want to build, they build.  If the majority want to play, they can kick the builders.

Yup, /callvote kick is the ultimate solution! Why do we have that /callteamvote denybuild anyway?

... if it's against the rules established by the server owner, which should be listed on the server's forum.  In which case the admins should deal with hijackers / racetrack builders who kick players.

But if building large is accepted on the server, then people who want a serious game (on a UBP server???) and don't want to go with the flow should go somewhere else.

I didn't know denybuild stopped players from killing the enemies base and ruining the building.

If it isn't against the rules (which who knows with skittles) than it's fine.. just a dumb change of pace.

Well, he said:
If the majority want to play, they can kick the builders.
And if hijacking ain't against the server rules, then that is exactly why I wouldn't go there...

I thought server-hijacking was more or less universally agreed upon as 'against the rules'.  Like aimboting/wallhacking.

But the question is whether on a UBP server, building lots of stuff is considered server hijacking.

That alone is not server hijacking, server hijacking is /callvote kick anyone_who_wants_to_play_and_not_build

Well, looking at those FPS numbers, I think you don't need to kick anybody who wants to play.
