is there a way that for making a model, you can make a vertices, and connect them to make a model?like a square has 4 vertices.

EDIT: what other programs can be used?

I dont know what in the world you are talking about but 3d blender would help you out. Its a free open source modeling and game creating and animation program for all computers. Go to 3dblender.com. I could help you with any ? you have about modeling... or animation

O never mind I see what your saying. You can grave 4 vertices and press (F). Only in ((3d blender))

Well you cant create a vert you just have to add an object and probably delete it. BUT!!!!  Just take 1 edge of a plane and press (E)extrude- it will drag out another plane to your choice.Using the mouse. Try this.

In blender: edit mode (tab), vertex select mode (Ctrl+tab, 1), deselect everything (A) and Ctrl-click to make a vertex. If you have something selected while Ctrl-clicking it will duplicate that and connect it to what you had selected if possible. Tho extrude is very useful, get used to it asap ;)

EDIT:Actually it seems Ctrl-click is pretty much like extrude, except it rotates whatever is being 'extruded' towards where you click.
