'------[Most of the replies above] show how poor people can't understand the concept of project. Tremhelper is obviously having the project to make a game that uses the Tremulous universe, but it doesn't mean he has to get the whole community of Tremulous into it by making it free or by making his project compatible with what settings most Tremulous players use. He is of course putting his project on the Tremulous forum, so the people of the community who might be interested into the project and who can get into the project will. I must also remind people that he wants to play the game, and he doesn't really care about having a marketing plan, so he will sell it as a bonus to those interested. But it is mostly a personal project, that some people can contribute to (probably in a limited way), as he makes it look. I keep seeing the same group of people attacking some members of this forum who comes up with ideas that can't be grasped by the group of people. The same situation repeat itself, first of all someone puts his idea on the forum, then people don't understand it at all and start attacking him on stupid points, after that they will call him a troll. You guys must stop this and try to think...

Ps : This isn't related to my past forums experience, I've been reading this forum for a while and I must say it was always pretty much like that, except there were more people, so the group of retards was lesser in proportion, now it doesn't seem to be the case.
thank you someone who supports the ideah, someone who gets it

Kasofa doesn't understand that when I'm talking about the Tremulous universe I'm not talking the codes, but the concepts arts, the type of soldiers we see, the type of aliens, etc.

Let's start with finding an engine that has Mac and Linux support first.
http://springrts.com/

A tremulous mod for the spring engine would be pretty cool.  It wouldn't be ridiculously hard either.
