id Tech 4
« on: November 06, 2011, 01:55:39 am »
I remember a long time ago, I discussed branching into the id Tech 4 engine when it goes open source. I was called some names and told that id Tech 4 probably wasn't going to go open source.

Why not try a port to idTech4?

You can write a trem-like game for idtech4, same as the gloom->trem transition, but a port would basically be a rewrite and probably more effort than starting again.
