I don't feel comfortable taking credit for things I'm not partaking in. My plan was combat, but I qualified for few combat jobs and there was one available now. One I am not interested in. So I took a desk job as a Army Human Resource specialist.

Sorry if I disappointed you guys.  ;)
92Y?  i did that job for almost a year after the first time i got hurt.  what was the combat arms opening you werent interested in?

42A I had to get a security clearance and all that fun stuff. 11X was available. Which is just "infantry option". If I was to do infantry I wanted rangers. I qualified for calvary scout, but it wasn't available and I'm not looking to wait a year+ to get in.

The stupidest thing I did today was noticing Nate. Blah.

shit, i should have known it was 42A....  i think 92 series is commo... i forget all the suport and admin MOS-es.  most of the mortors attached to my cavalry troop happened to enlist as 11X, they then got stuck in 11C.

either way, when you get out of TRADOC, some of your cadre may have been junior enlisted under/with me.  i dont know the size of admin, but i know the cav was a relatively small branch.  one of the drill sergeants for my OSUT troop eventually became my bradley commander in korea.

Depending on your age, you may have known my dad. Robert A. Hibberd. He was stationed in Korea. He was airborne

i was there from '03 to '05.  the name hibberd does not ring a bell, though.
