You could have:
 #1 Done a search and read all of the other stories.
 #2 Read Timbo's beautiful story at:

 #3 Not announced this the same day you were supposed to post it.
 #4 NOT POSTED THAT YOU COULDN'T DO IT IN ANOTHER THREAD. YOU SHOULD HAVE CHANGED THIS THREAD, RESPONDED TO IT, OR NOT HAVE POSTED AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SOMETHING YOU COULDN'T COMPLETE ANYWAY (its a story FGS.. you don't need to announce it before its done).
