Game-time factor 0.22
First seen 05.12.2006 | 18:58

1641 games in a little more than a week?  :-?

No, no. The first seen date is incorrect. It's the same for everyone. I think the team kills still aren't being tracked either. I'm not for sure though.

Team kills on boom boom aren't being tracked.

I'd like to know how Oblivion killed someone with a Hive and with Basilisk gas though

Yeah. The games.log doesn't display timestamps, so DASPRiD picks up the dates by the date the log parser runs. So First Seen is the first time the log parser read the log with the player online.

And no I haven't patched the server to track team kills. Doing so leads to a decision whether to wipe out all current stats, so things start from scratch.

You BoomBoom guys definitely need to update TremStats from SVN, delete the databse, import the new structure.sql/data.sql and do a ./tremstats.py --reparse. There's something positively fucked up in your stats.

Pacra, If I'm not mistaken the basilisk gas actually does a bit of damage, so a low hp human should die. I don't know about the hive however. You'll need to get DigiFad to clear that one up.

I love how you Euro's like to put down anything that isn't Euro. The stats do a fine job in letting you know that as of today you don't play enough Tremulous. That is all I intended to show you, and if you think the amount of times we've played is bogus, well then you aren't paying attention to other servers player count often. Boom Boom is filled pretty much the majority of the day. It's damn hard to get on it at night.

There's a treshold at 25 games. Below 25 games you get a very low game time factor. DASPRiD explained why it was like that, but I don't quite get it still - made sense tho :-)

Player Name   rasz PL
Games played   22
Game-time factor   0.01
Kill Efficiency   3.77

are you saying that 3-4 games more and ill be on top? I kinda doubt it :) and I got same kill efficiency as Gryf.

ROFL, 5 games later and im 6 :) and hold best Kill Rate in first 10 :P

Somebody got to more than parsing. The reason I asked "WHAT" was broken, was for more info on the update. I have to patch the parser to work on my server, and didn't feel like going through the hassle. But I decided to go ahead and do so - to see what the big change is. I do note that the update has made the parsing very resource-intensive.

And for DASPRiD... I posted my patches that we discussed previously on your bugzilla site.

rasz_pl, you wish to call me stupid when you can't even comprehend what my post was about. It was to show that Nux, you, and whoever else on those servers do not play nearly as much as they think they do.

The statistics aren't so broken to tell this incorrectly. Your head may be however.

BodyOrgan: (it wasn't you) but the thread started out pretty much with an American bashing "anything that is not American" (i.e. our Euro server). Nevermind tho :)

digifad: Sry then, misunderstood you. DASP should have a list of changes somewhere. I do know however, that parsing got a lot faster for me (Quad CPU Sun server tho) during the latest developments. Why do you have to apply patches for the stuff to work on your server? Did you hack your server??

I agree that it is faster. It just makes MySQL work a lot harder - causing some hard resource pings. Not a big deal!

The reason I have to patch the code is because I'm using a Windows OS dedicated server (yeah yeah). I've submitted patches to DASPRiD's bugzilla site, so maybe I won't have to patch in the future. :-)

Well, SatGNU doesn't have that prob since the parsing happens on a machine that's different from the tremded serving one. So I didn't even think of that :-)

About the patches, even tho I'm a Linux nut I'm also strongly for portability and making it happen. More power to your patches, may DASPRiD apply them!

Didifad: You can avoid this problem through setting the nice-value of the MySQL daemon up to something like 5.
