Strange GTKRadiant settings
« on: February 13, 2007, 08:28:51 pm »
I have strange problem. I makin map on two PC, and they seems dont compartable. Both PC have winXP. Both have equal reinstalled Tremulous and Radiant. But... *.map files maked on one machine dont load on other. console says:
Code: [Select]
Loading map from H:/mapping/experiment/maps/experiment.map
Open file H:/mapping/experiment/maps/experiment.map for read...success
7:2: parse error at '(': expected '#quake3-primitive'
brush 0: parse error
entity 0: parse error
map load timer:  0.01 second(s) elapsed
--- LoadMapFile ---
H:/mapping/experiment/maps/experiment.map
0    primitive
0 entities

In fact, files really different. I have:
First machine saves:
Code: [Select]
// entity 0
{
"classname" "worldspawn"
// brush 0
{
( 1536 1024 2304 ) ( -1024 1024 2304 ) ( 1536 1024 2048 ) experiment/concerte02 0 0 0 0.5 0.5 0 0 0

Second machine saves:
Code: [Select]
// entity 0
{
"classname" "worldspawn"
// brush 0
{
brushDef
{
( 768 512 512 ) ( 768 -512 512 ) ( -1024 512 512 ) ( ( 0.00390625 0 0 ) ( 0 0.00390625 0 ) ) assault/floor00 0 0 0

As u can see in one case added brushDef { ... } container.
On machine, whats generating files with such container Radiand loading really slow. Both PC success compiling maps. Which save format correct and where bug? Any ideas?  :-?

P.S. I checked and explored thats deleting 'trem.game/base/entities.def' from Radiant speed up 2nd comp Radiant loading time and Radiant no more add brushDef. entities.def equal on both machines. =|
