Where do i put/run the .tga and .package files?

what .tga files?
.package?? no idea here.
.patch? is a normal patch file.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patch_(Unix)
Any maps not in the MG repo?  Email me or come to irc.freenode.net/#mg.

Get the sources, run that patch on them, compile, put the new qvm and the tga in a pk3, and dump in base.

But it wont work unless the servers has an identical pk3.  The cheat protection blocks this, for good reason.

It's part of balance mod.
