I fixed the first requirement, after pondering what everyone has said.  Now you just have to have Mormon-ish standards.  No more argument, right?

hey we didnt say you HAD to be mormon. You just had to act as mature as a mormon "should". Obviously none of you has the potential to join except a couple of you. and i know a lot of mormons in my ward that play trem so there are more than you think. Also mormons play shooters all the time... at least the guys do. A lot of us even play halo. Its not against our religion to play games. besides the clan is just based on maturity mostly and at least some 1337 skillz.

I know for a fact that the leaders of the Members are highly disproving of violent media and that it is based on scripture.  How in hells name is trem not considered violent media?

That's hilarious.  You do know that the FCC ruled as recently as 2003 that fuck is not obscene over public radio and television broadcasts so long as it's not used in a sexual context, right?  And therefor, by your own rules set, you should be saying fuck as liberally as you might use bitch.

Thats nice that you can say that but that doesn't change the fact that I've never heard the f-word on radio or tv (not cable). Besides, my server, my rules. You don't have to play there. You can go to beergarden and listen to Oashin say the f-word every 2 seconds like I saw the other day if it makes you happy.

I don't want to further threadjack this thread, but I need to point out that just because you haven't personally the F word on TV doesn't mean that people have not said it, or that the governing body that overseas broadcast television here in the USA does not condone it.

If your deciding factor for saying bitch, gay, fag, et. al. are because people on TV say it -- which is a sad, sad justification in itself, than fuck should be incorporated into your vernacular in the same manor.

Anyway, I'm not debating the topic in reference to your server, but the overall pick and choose hypocrisies that basing a clan on a religion exposes.  Especially one whose scholars and leaders lambaste violent video games (such as trem) on a daily basis.

I'm not very serious about my religion to be honest. I don't feel the need to justify or excuse everything I do because a pastor had an opinion about it. I call it thinking for myself.

So I will amend my previous post about our rule. We enforce the no cussing rule except for the word Bitch. You can say that all you want when on our server, but I can't guarantee that an admin won't get tired of it and kick you.
