Cl_Parsesnapshot Problem

I have been recently trying to host a private test of my map Ruins. But when the map loads i get the error "Cl_ParseSnapshot : invalid siza 34 for areamask" then disconnects. Everyone who connects get this error message and the map can be played via the /map function perfectly. Im not sure whats wrong at the moment.

Sounds like a client side problem.

What kind of server are you using?

Its been tested on 2 servers, hosted by just normal computers. Theres no hoting company involved. But both have had the same problem. These servers are both in the Uk which is where im based also.

I didnt really want to do this just yet but heres a download link to the map:

Your map has MANY leaks!! It's a record!
You need to know that Doors and Buttons don't block areas from the void, resulting in leaks. The same for Patches.

There are many more leaks I don't had patience to make pics.

Observing your map, I can say you were some lazy when making your brushes: many are bad aligned, overlapping, redundant (can merge some) etc. etc. etc.
You don't use any Caulk shader but many NULL textures...

Make sure you use some Detail brushes too.

Don't be lazy! Keep working! That map can be turned into a good one. Big map, big challenge.

Yea sorry...
I would edit to say the map has potential despite of the pointed things (it's an early edition I know).
Also would say to him keep working (the map can be much improved).

And I have a map.
Btw, David, why don't you reply Lava's posts in that way too?

Well thx alot guys. I've only been map making shortly and haven't had alot of experience. Thx warrior for pointing out the problems in the map and i will fix them all hopefully and continue working on the map with other ideas. I m glad you see potential in it and if theres any ideas for additions in the map please tell me. And i really didnt want to release this map just yet because it is a very early version. Thx for the info!
