and humans, because they are significantly more pwn.
On the whole, humans are used to dying - dragoon headshots left right and centre give them a generally poor lifespan. When they do retire to their early grave it's generally with a sigh of "oh no not again".
When, on the other hand, an alien goes from 200 hp to 0 because I just emptied a rifle clip and a half into him, he's much more likely to be all, "wtf mate :(" and I'll be like "lololol". Much more rewarding.

I like playing both teams. I'd have to say I'm equally skilled with each teams. Although I really get pissed when I'm playing humans, spending literally no camping time in the base, and aliens whine that all the humans are camping.

Usually humans have more players, but aliens have more GOOD players.  I feel bad for the humans, so I try to play them a bit more often than aliens.  Although...lately...I've been slipping.

It's very tempting to go alien because at all stages of the game you can solo successfully.  Human means that you're going to have to rely on your teammates during late stage one and stage 3.  I think this is a big factor in making most of the good players choose alien - they don't want to be let down by a camping or inept team.

Aiens. Whan i started playing trem there were always more players in humans team so i picked alians...
and than i started to love them. Walking on the walls, jumping, slashing freaking around. And more: aliens can build on walls, ceiling. Have hives, trapers and hovel(oh yeah!!!).

Killing using matrix style gives lot of satisfaction... and im not going to hide fact that im not as good human as alien. Its just humans are boring to me.

Auto-select every time pretty much unless I really want to be on someone's team for some reason. Auto-select though almost always puts me on aliens.

Same people wait for humans, so I end up aliens alot.

I play always humans. As alien I feel forced to always play by waiting behind corners and I find that very boring. I prefer the more offensive human style (ye, ye, I know the common thinking is humans live to camp, but I don't see it that way).
