On server with Share, don't feed.  I just donate 3 evos, kill, donate 3, suicide into the base, take a few humans and a ret down, come back again.  Before long, its a field of rants doing the same.

On humans, I get a chaingun and do the same against rushing aliens.  Some games (If I'm pissed and want to be jerk) I spend all my time farming evos/credits for teammate until SD.

true, servers with sharing makes this stuff harder, because fraggodz can upgrade their noob team seriously.
but still, nothing is worse than having a noob tyrant or a noob lucicannoner in your team :-) upshared noobs are easy to kill, easy to make them teamkill, easy to make them to send a fullcharged lucifer kiss towards their armoury, or to make them to kill their own Overmind when you are behind it...:-)
plus i really LOVE when a tyrant [with 0=ZERO kills] is sunbathing on the booster so other teammates cant reach it ..... :-)*

*: i am SO amazed that so many clan-tagged/bind-equipped guys are doing this also...

There once was a player who fed.
Always lived a short life before dead.
But then his own team,
Fed up with his theme,
Put him on their foe's team instead.

oh and another thing.

if humans are massively camping, there is always a good chance for getting some evos by jumping inside their base with a poisoning dretch biting some naked builder's heads, or even killing guys standing on med and shopping at armoury. turrets shoot you in 2 seconds, but not any single human will damage you, so they get minimal credits. if you take care of the turret's direction, you can be BIG after 5-6 jump-ins.

today's "is it a lol?":

at many games when the match has been hit by the Timelimit, the topfraggers are shouting: I WON I WON, I HAVE 50+ FRAGZ I WON! - and of course the ones who had 2 kills during the game are supporting them like YUP WE WON WE HAVE MORE TOTAL FRAGZ!
but they forget that Tremulous is not a "deatmatch" game. the goal is to destroy all spawns, nothing else. it IS possible to win a game without a single frag. but impossible to win without killing eggs/nodes.
at many games, s3 humans are coming, killing 6-8 dretches while marching towards alien base, but they have to turn back halfway, because they health got low, and they got rid of half of their ammo. they are full of credits, the fragilist is getting FAT, but they are getting owned by timelimit without even seeing a single acid tube. and then they claim victory....
same goes for aliens who are lurking behind corners, having fix 9 evo all the time, but never swallowed a turret's bullet.

Not if you're an alien since dretches can't damage telenodes.

I played recently alot ATCS. If there are less players, lets say both teams have 7, then alien feeding is OK for alien team, human feeding mean you never have a chance to go alien base. Really, if naked humans go one by another to a tyr, maybe hurting 20-30 hp and then dieng, its like neverending flow of tyrs going on your base. Even if you are in team of 3 chaingunners, 1-2 feeders on your team and you kill constantly tyrs/adv goons, nothing more. You got cash, chaingunners got cash, some of your chainteam die, they respawn and get battlesuit and chaingun again. Problem is, in even a such small map, its damn hard to get near of alien base and nade some alien buildings if you must kill 2-5 tyrs + alot dretches in your way.

It theres more players, 10+ on both teams, then human feeding is less important and alien feeding more. Those naked humans camp so tightly, that they protect structures pretty good. If there is enough spawns, tyrs can slash, but they will die before they reach your buildings. So, there are more humans, that means, if they rush as rambo, they less likely alone and less likely to be easy tyrfood.

A little unconventional method of feeding, but i've found that dying resets your build timer, dying a few times to rebuild a chunk of your base in a hurry isn't so bad.

dont camp, be constructive :-)

camping is constructive, you get to sit with a ckit trying to build in sd until you die... fun, i would say!

feeding is also a cool constructive thing to do, it allows you to get perm banned!!  (AWESOME)

oh and btw, is khalsa suppost to be good or something?  hmm... i pwned him bad on atcs... like RLY bad... and then he leaves without a word prolly cuz his great "ego" got damaged... ?  (just a guess) xD  ;P  oor is he a noob "feeder" xD lawl

Ah, but the problem are Alien Feeders. As in, dretchstormers who suck. I once had Human S3 against alien S1 6 kills left. We lost, go figure.

Ya, lets change it in 1.2 so aliens have an easier time camping!!!

- Or you could make it harder for humans to camp... Oh wait, they've allready done that haven't they?

Aliens can't camp? How do you call all the Dragoons and Tyrants who do nothing more than camp right outside the Human base, shouting 'Campers!' at the Humans? Aliens are actually very good campers.

Not true. I've seen dragoons camp and pounce. It simply is *MUCH* harder.

thing is, feeders are the only solution to determined campers. they WILL sit there and they WILL wait and they WILL NOT move. at all. a player that charges in there, MIGHT get the camper or they MIGHT draw the camper out for the goon to jump on.

either way. you are NOT a feeder if you continuesly charge the enemy base, get a kill or two but spawn again within 1-2 minutes. its only feeding if you constantly charge the enemy base. die alot. and after 200 kills get 3 evos/ 300 credits

No, but it is possible to get to s2, from them feeding your acid tubes, not you.  And then evolving to adv granger and chomping telenodes with them.
