How come i cant make a server

Im tryin to figure out how to make a server coz everytime i try 2 tremulous minimizes and and shows code how do i make a server without it doing that ty

You might get a better response if you try spelling words correctly; language is used to convey ideas from person to person, and since you're requesting assistance from people (who really owe you nothing, but most will help out of the kindness of their heart) your best bet is to make sure your ideas are carried across clearly and without a lot of extra deciphering on the part of the reader.

After spending some time trying to figure out what that sentence means, the best I can say is that you didn't run Tremulous, because there is no "computer code that programmers use" that would appear on your screen when you run it.  Perhaps you're referring to the console of the server, which means you ran the server correctly; however with no additional context, this is just a guess.  Running a server is not just point and click, it requires a bit of thought, a bit of knowledge, and a bit of patience; not to mention a lot of skill if it's more than a one-off game with friends.  Try searching the forums a bit for more information on setting them up, you may (probably will?) find other posts where this question has been asked and answered already.

When the error shows, press the Print Screen (Prt Scn) button on your keyboard.  (Usually above the Left Arrow / Delete / Insert keys.)

Now, open MS Paintbrush.  Hit EDIT > Paste.  Hit File > Save As, and pick File Type JPG or JPEG (same thing).  Give the file a name, and make sure you stick it in My Documents or the Desktop.  Now, go to www.tinypic.com, and upload that file there.  Then, copy the link to the picture (CTRL+C after selecting the link text, or press the copy button).  Paste (CTRL+V after putting your cursor in your Reply box) the link here in your next post.

I'm not trying to flame you in any way but if you post sentences like: "wat wud happen waz a hole bunch of computer code that programmers use wud come up" then maybe it's better that you give up on trying to host a server If you are determined to try it out then I suggest, like many others did, that you look for the tutorials here on the forum. There is a Windows and Mac tutorial here and I got a Linux tutorial somewhere on my hard disk. If you follow those tutorials then it should run fine
