the forum im most active on added these a few months ago, BAD idea, it makes loading pages that implement it /very/ slow, plus some members used them to hide massive amounts of stuff in their signatures, so a thread with 10 replies ends up being longer than a full page of threads when all the spoilers are shown (affecting loading times)

short: its not worth the hassle

What kind of spoilers could possibly be discussed on this forum? There's no story in Tremulous. Sure there's "off topic" but is that and that alone really worth catering to?

The spoiler tags on HLP don't cause slow loads.. ??  Maybe they implemented it differently.

Not so much for using "spoilers", but it would be nice to have then just for normal use, making posts shorter and such
