How many people in RL do you know...

...who play Tremulous?

For me, the answer is probably none. I turned a few people onto it, and even had a friend put up a server for a few months on a nice dedicated 24/7 box, but I can't say I actually know anyone who plays Tremulous besides me. But then, I'm old, and my friends are too. Most of the people I know who are gamers are WWII fans or X-Boxers, playing Battlefield 1942 or Halo. I've got a MacBook, and Trem is what it runs, so w00t! Tremulous!

None... I've tried to convince friends to play, but they aren't really game-savvy and have a hard time moving the mouse and pressing buttons at the same time.

I've tried to get a couple of people interested and even offered training on my private server but they just dont want to adjust to what I consider a steep learning curve just to play a game.

I'll tell them it's worth it and they'll come around in the end im sure, but for now, no, none. Hope to soon though.

Yeah my buddy can run in one direction while looking in the other direction throwing grenades on his X-box, but he can't find USE or FIRE on my computer. I love telling him, "Just push X!". He's always yelling at me "Q? Whaddya mean, Q?" & "How do I get a grenade?"

Right now, 1 - [UVACHE]BunnyFooFoo, the one responsible for getting me to play the game in the first place.  Keep trying to convince a couple co-workers they should play too, but so far they've only played once each (and one other guy I know too).  So those other three I can't count yet

I don't know anyone personally that plays Trem, but I just found out recently (when I came back to Trem and applied to join MG) that Seffylight went to my high school a few years behind me.

i think |LXG|Phill goes to college nearby, and DeathOnIce lives what um like an hours drive away i think
