i dont know but the modification related by these screenshots are great dont u think
Except for what seems to be the slow sign (I don't know it that is some kind of power or if it is damaged inflicted). I heard about the poison, but never about the slow.

Then again, I'm not sure if it is TremX, as I never played it before.

I believe the slow sign is to indicate when you are slow walking, (default Shift I'm pretty sure.)

You already asked about that, over there.

If that is the case it shouldn't be indicated. The player already knows he is slow walking. And the other related signs are too big. I would use smaller signs. The poison sign should be next to the "life indicator", since it is related to damage. Besides, the indicators are to many, and that will only make the game experience worse.

The standard hud is good as it is. Nevertheless, I would use the poison indicator on the hud if the standard does not indicate that already (never took poison, that's why I don't know).

Lava Croft

You will rarely find yourself in a situation where all the indicators shown on that screenshot will be visible at the same time. All the indicators are merely there to show where they would be if showing up. For example, the skull&bones means you are dead, and if you are dead, you cannot be poisoned or slowed, so those indicators do not show up. Just like the skull&bones doesn't show up while you are alive.

But why is that indicator needed? Its easy to know when I'm dead without it. Takes the reality feel out of the game, and gives it a Quake III Arena feel instead.

The hud is not bad at all, but certain indicators are simply not needed because they are redundant.

Lava Croft

Firstly, stop whining about 'reality feel' in game with Aliens the size of cars and Humans that shoot balls of heated plasma(?).

Secondly, since you can clearly see those icons are made, there seem to be people, of which I am one, who think they indeed are a welcome addition.

Well, I'm not trying to take down the idea. Sorry if I seemed harsh. I'm just proposing that redundant icons should not be considered, that's all.

Nevertheless, I won't bother you with this anymore. It is up to the devs deciding what should be implemented or not.
