I personally only listen to my music at three-quarters volume, so I can still hear (most of) what's going on.

Me too; otherwise it overwhelms the trem sounds, where I put it I can hear the other team etc.

A kindred spirit! Seriously, Trem has sound for a reason. Now if only they had in game music. Do Jedi Academy PK3s work as mods? I made one music mod once for that...

i tend to play music at max volume, surprisingly, though, i do a little bit better with loud music than with no music

I just got TinMan's "Now Playing" scripts to work on my Mac... Anyone want them, just ask.

Just lately I've been putting my epic hat on while playing.

This just means listening to epic music while prancing around looking daft.

I don't listen to music either, or even with sound, I usualy have it muted; I let my eyes be my ears

No. Let n00bs pick overly destructive Human weapons and then use them in their own base and around their own teammates. Maybe then they'll learn that doing that is a stupid idea. Meanwhile, I will be slashing at their damaged Armoury, after I vault their smoking turrets and the scattered bodies of their TK' d teammates. N00bs: they're what's for breakfast.

Just in case you don't get that, sound allows you to hear things you can't see. Something those people accusing me of wallhacking seem to forget.

As an example, If you're a dretch (where humans don't have helmets) it's a good idea not to jump when you're being sneaky. If you do, you'll be shaking a little maraca to tell them you're there.

ChaosSquirrel

Unless, like me, they listen to metal... and even then sometimes I do! Hear dretches, that is. It's pretty loud.
