Title: Please Help

i am currently running on linux ubuntu,  the game runs and all but when i join a server the game runs really slow and i mean slow. i don't know what could be causing this but if anybody has any ideas on what it might be, feel free to post your suggestions :) thank you!!!

@dev/hc/: Your attitude toward new players who need help (fairly douchy) sux. Fix it, and Tremulous' player base might increase.

@KillaLoc: I can't help much, but perhaps posting your specs might be of use :D

Do you have good graphics drivers?  I remember sometimes Linux doesn't install 3D accelerated drivers, so check to see if your video card manufacturer (usually ATI or nVidia, if not, maybe Intel) has some drivers for you.
