=eno reyalp: "TREMULOUS"=
audiobook captured from the author's Personal Information Provider B.U.O.Y., mixed with the backup of his music playlist what is the only device remained from the infamous Harkam incident (the well known episode of the alien invasion raiding the asylum of retired mercenaries who became schyzophrenic during the overdose of the "recreation process". in his case, he built up unusually strong theoretical barriers against those who wanted to convince them that he is not a clone of Kal 'El [or something similar, right pronounciation was always unclean as it was always somewhat interfering with the amount of foam in his mouth]).
i'd love it!
would be great chance to create a tremmy background of your life while working, studying or anything what disturbes you in visually taking part of the game.
P.S.: i was a bit worried you didn'T appear for a while ;-)
P.S.2(=EDIT): definitely more worried than seeing you terranecroing ;-)

Well, because I can only listen to one song at a time, compared to Player1 and Kaleo who seem to be able to listen to multiple ALBUMS at one time, I am listening to:
Rise Against - Re-Education (Through Labor)

Hi.
Indochine - Paradize ;D
-
@mooseberry: lol'd
I was waiting for someone to bust me on that, but aren't the rules buried about 9 pages ago? :P
So that's why I qualified it, and listed the particular song I was listening to right then, and some of the albums I'm listening to lately.
These also include Backyard Babies - Eponymous, 2008 and Hardcore Superstar - Bad Sneakers and a Pina Colada, 200_.
I usually listen to more prog rock and sword-and-sorcery metal this time of the year, and less glam and garage. So, you know, crusty old Rush like "By-Tor and the Snow Dog" or weird Yes like "Sound Chaser" or really epic battle-metal, like Manowar's "Achilles: Agony and Ecstasy (in Eight Parts)" or some prog-boogie, like early Rainbow with Dio and Cozy Powell (the drum into to "Stargazer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6IPBN6ARkE)" will blow your mind - Cozy Powell, FTMFDCW,B!).
P.S. Checked out both Altaria (Finnish Power Metal) and Rise Against (I like this shit, this is rock and roll to an old man like me). Thanks.
P.P.S. So right now I'm listening to what you people listen to, but in two minutes I will be listening to Black Sabbath - "Die Young", very fucking loud.
//I'm listening to it right now, so there.

//Wickedly off-topic:
Check out the related pages that try to attribute certain colors to key. It would be really cool to try to do a light show based on combining the various systems described here (http://www.harmonics.com/lucy/lsd/colors.html), using each system for a different element of the stage set. For example the Fourier "metal" could be the front lights (for various shades of gray use neutral density gel or just dim "white" light; also, as Rimsky-Korsakov considered "C" as white, I would have "iron" be open white) while his "rainbow" color could be the side lights (never underestimate the value of a good rim light for modeling and revelation of form - without it dance and glamour pr0n would look like shit). I would have Scriabin's colors and the Rosicrucian colors be my truss colors, and have color changers on the drums, using the LucyTuning system for that color. So a song in Db-min would be: white front light, with additional white light (silver is brighter than iron) or something mirrored, indigo rim light, violet and green-green-blue on the trusses, with blue-green on the drums.
Oh, yeah: "D-minor is the saddest of all keys", said Nigel Tufnel; and did you read what they had to say about D#-min? Db-min would just make them jump from rooftops, no?
:'( :P

Sorry for continueing the wickedly off topicness. That would be completely awesome to have the light system relate to the music. I wonder how the crowd would react and if they'd even notice. I think that could be an excellent edition to a concert. Normally lights and stage effects are timed to beats, but I don't know how often chord recognization is taken into consideration. Anyone up for trying it?

Wow, thank you, I was actually looking for that song but was too lazy to google it. I heard it in an amv and had no clue who it was by. This is an excellent song.

Let's give that stack of CDs from the library a spin, shall we?
ToaD - "Not Meant to Be"
Pretty meh, in a commercial, post-Creed, Bush-must-be-in-office, PoM/Godsmack, hard rock/semi-metal, VH1/CMT way.
Ah, random play: what's next?
Opeth - "Hex Omega"
So much better. Thank you to yahoo for the recommendation. Also got Isis, the Mekons and of course some old man music (King Crimson and Yes).
And now for our next track:
The Mekons - "Johnny Miner"
A friend of mine, who likes Stiff Little Fingers, the Plimsouls, and Big Country, would really enjoy this. Not exactly my cup of tea, but not terrible.
ToaD - "Got it Made"
I like it better, but it's got a Linkin Park-esque MTV thing that I'm still not convinced by. Sounds like a summertime record. It's grey and gloomy here. Wrong mood. Maybe I'll listen to this again around July. Sounds like car music. Blessedly concise, at least.
The Mekons - "Memphis Egypt"
Noisy experimental punk. Anybody besides me remember the Lemondrops, Pere Ubu, Die Kreuzen, Racer X? Reminds me of that. Yeah, my buddy must listen to these guys. If he don't, he should.
Isis - Not in Rivers, But in Drops
I like it. Very prog, yet also stoner/sludge/ambient/metal-ish. Reminds me of King Crimson, a wee bit. Again, thanks yahoo.
@Kaleo: Still checking out the links that you posted. Nile and Bolt Thrower are both growing on me.
-
If you're looking into getting a Nile album, I would reccomend starting with either Annihilation Of The Wicked (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Annihilation_of_the_wicked), In Their Darkened Shrines (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_Their_Darkened_Shrines) or Ithyphallic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ithyphallic_(album)).

Kaleo: Duly noted.
Opeth - "Porcelain Heart"

Just mixing things up.
The Raconteurs - Consoler of the Lonely

Love that album. Played the crap out of it last fall/summer-ish.
Along with the album Head Off by the Hellacopters.

Actually that kind of semi-cinematic/symphonic/commercial-prog metalcore is pretty well matched for the giant robots, wandering swordsmen and moon-eyed eurasian heroines of anime; it is after, the cultural equivalent of superhero and funny animal comics (combined with fantasy-violence science fiction).

Spiritual Beggars - Fools Gold (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2P_e5iMXh4)
Seeing is believing
Or so they say
But who's to judge
What's real anyway?
I know it's fake
So get off your high horse
You'd rather have this dream
Than your tears and heartaches
I'm sorry
But I can't help you
I'm really sorry
But I'm busy chasing fools gold
It's always been this way
I gotta ride my own wave
Can't intellectualise
There's no compromise
I'm not like you
I can only be me
And that's something
You never quite figured out
also: truckfighters, greenleaf, dozer, demon cleaner, s.n.o., etc.

The technicality is intriguing to say the least. The twin guitars harmonising each other also add a lot of atmosphere. Add growls, and you have technical death metal.
