Hello, everyone. ;)
If I run my tremserver with benmachine's qvm (which modifys the turrets) and then try to join it, my tremulous shows the following error:
"Client/Server game mismatch: base/benmachine"
Can someone help me please ???
Sorry, for my bad English. ::)

You need the client-side pk3 to be in the appropriate location.

What is a "client-side pk3" ?
I'm sorry, but I'm a noob on things like that.
I only know, how to make admin commands (make config files, write in the admin.dat, etc.) and how to use them. And I know some console commands.
I have one more question: Which base folder is mentioned here? The base folder in the user's folder, or the base folder, which is in the tremulous installation folder?
-
The base folder is the mod folder. You need the same pk3 in the client and the server in the same directory. If you have it, try launching the client like: tremulous.exe + set fs_game "benmachine" so the mod is forced to preload.

Okay, I will give this a try.
This doesn't work :(

You need:
1) to start your server with +set fs_game benmachine and to have data-benmachineXXXX.pk3 and vms-benmachineXXXX.pk3
2) to tell us the exact error message you get when things don't work so we can work out why
3) to use a mod that has any competence in its development or any support among current developers

Which files should be in data-benmachineXXXX.pk3 and in vms-benmachineXXXX.pk3 ?
I only have the game.qvm.
-
Well, there's your problem right there. vms-benmachineXXXX.pk3 should contain ui.qvm, cgame.qvm, and game.qvm. data-benmachineXXXX should contain everything else.

Maybe only cgame.qvn and ui.qvm, I can't remember how I arranged it
Take your pick:

Hmm. Well, whatever, he needs vms-blah-blah-blah and data-blah-blah-blah (same version of each or bad things could happen, AFAIK).

Thanks for this link, benmachine.
EDIT: It works, now. I really thank you all for your great help. :D

I have the same problem and ive read over this topic over and over but still nothing...
I can run the server fine, no probs there.
But when i go to enter my server it says: Client/Server game mismatch: base/benmachine
What do i do???
P.S Inside my tremserver.bat it says: tremded.exe +set dedicated 2 +set fs_game benmachine +exec server.cfg +set net_port 32123
I hope thats alright
