the curret hovels are only good for two things annoying tyrants and glitch building. The hovel should poison humans who step on it because this would make it a lot better plus it makes more since

I agree, since the hovel is quite useless, why not make it do some damage to humans? It'll annoy the hell out of painsaw rushers too.

This is a good idea, bravo blood.
They have huge ass spikes, but that is only decoration. Now they could do something.

Would do something more to punish luci jumpers than simply blocking them.

Just a suggestion, but maybe barricades could lash out and shove/damage passing humans?

Have you played -dev? Barricades shrink to let aliens through and remain normal size for humans. This on top of their increased HP and reduced cost and the fact that tubes now do damage through them makes htem rather worthwhile indeed.

That would be cool, but I still liked the idea of the "Teleporting-Hovel" the most.

Make the hovel grow legs and walk around, and try to take out the reactor with guns. The humans could have a cable gun that knocks the hovel down.

What we really need is for the barricade to grab people that get too close to it (as opposed to gettimg in line of fire for trapper)

Also, my suggestion about the hovel walking around was entirely serious

The Amsterdam Unlimited server has the hovelport. It proved quite useful :D

The Hovel ought to have a wider range than what the actual model is though (for the poisoning effect) otherwise its all to easy to avoid as a human.
