Title: Best Provider for a Tremulous game server
Post by: floww on August 28, 2008, 10:59:36 pm: ok wtv is better a linux server or a Windows server for playing Tremulous
and why is it better.

2nd question do you guys know good provider for Tremulous server s because im going to rent one .

And IMO linux is better for servers, but I'm probably biased. (AFAIK most non-home hosted server are linux, the obvious exception being SST)

I havent really seen reliable free servers that arent single people.
But if you choose to host from a single person you probably wont get full rights to handle the server settings however you want xD
Umm yea SST is pretty good :D

Well, the fact you hate it probably resides around the fact you dont know anything about it's awesome power. You've probably also been rooted already. ^_^

Because if they dont read up on linux they might find themselves accidently deleting all thier files.

Love it.
Havent seen many problems with newbies deleting all thier files though.

Post by: Unimatrix_001 on September 02, 2008, 07:29:27 pm: Hello i have the F * * * * * * problem with my server(sorry for languge)....i've opened port 32123 and i hosted a server(i have adsl) it worked but did not showed on list then i tested it by calling some player in and he couldnt find it nither but he searched for me and he found me and joined then we played for an half hour and i got out closed a server and turned off my pc few minutes later i got bored and turned on pc and runed a server but my adsl changed ip but it still should work but did not worked so idk what should i do now????how to fix it???
