Don't get it...

Alright so I want to make this map so that my friends and I can train and things. I go make my layout want to test it out I go into console type /map Testing and it says starting up and then this stupid error message comes up.

CM_LoadMap: maps/Rags.bsp has wrong version number (1953391904 should be 46)

I have no clue what that means I went back into the tutorial about it and did what it says to start the map but still came up. So some help would be great.

How did you get a BSP file?

well when i first did /map in console it said needed BSP file so I just simply renamed it...guess I failed eh?

try using the BUILD menu in gtkradiant.

Alright I did what you say now I am getting a DIFFRENT error message...

Whatever QVM you have locally sucks, use a different one.

yea ive gotten the bad client error before, u just gotta have a diff qvm...

hey i have no build menu in my radiant, how do i compile?

All I got a new QVM and the pathways is good. I go in and do type the map code and tremulous go no response. I was told to ask Brain but I am hoping that I could send it to someone and they will help

then type /devmap insertmapnamehere

It just stops responded and a Mircrosoft error thing comes saying it has to close and if I want to send an error report bla bla bla.

Ok here are the basic steps and make sure you pretty much follow'd them.

1)Make sure you can play NORMAL server games on tremulous.

2)If you can play normal games, proceed to make your map on GTK.

3)Once you have made the map and everything necessary, save and go to the BUILD toolbar on the top edge of GTK.
                          *If you can't find the menu, I have failed you
4)Depending on which version of GTK you have, the menu will be different. Basically, click on where it says TEST.

5)Wait for the process to end.

6)MAKE SURE THE NAME OF THE NEWLY CREATED BSP DOES NOT SAY "map.bsp.bsp" or anything like that.

7)Start Trem and at the main menu hit the squigly "~" key and type "/sv_pure 0"

8)If you have done all that is in your power to follow these instructions and it STILL doesn't work, go to the troubleshooting section as your client is probably bad.

GTK is a toolkit.  and the BUILD menu says BUILD.
