Requests for Administrative Action

Due to the high volume of complaints and other issues with servers, this thread has been created to help us better organize complaints, suggestions, reports etc.. through out all tremulous servers.

If you have a problem, complaint or suggestion you may post the following information on this thread:

3. Your Contact E-mail: (You may list your e-mail if you wish an server admin or server operator to respond to your complaint privately)

Then after those are listed you may write about it here. Also, if you have demos, condumps, screenshots to support you, you may post them here also.[/b]

2 someone hates your server, if no admin is arround he decons stuff, when I go for admin i wait 10 mins on IRC :/, when admins are on satgny this person goes do db# servers and decons there spamming "satgnu must die"

AKKA's DLL isn't designed to support FF. If we turned on FF you could get evolution points for team-killing teammates which would obviously screw up the game really bad.

then at least tweak autoban script, it is banning for stupid things like repairing own structures, or turn off FF for structures, then again with FF off I wont play there anyway

Admins can allways watch the server "incognito" to reassure no greifers are up to anything.  might be a good idea if somone is waiting for admins to not be "present"

thats y i always first join a server as a random name so no one knows i am on... that way i can catch greifers easily

I've done that too, but sometimes it doesn't work/people reconize me.

2. * Problem: Griefer/Spammer/Imitator by the name of D.  He will play great at the start of the game, then change his name to match one of the other players (He seems to preffer me...) and start spamming the hell out of the server.

I have to admit it sucks when you can't vote nothing and admins aren't there too. Sad, since this is a server with a good ping (at least for me ).

same on satgnu before it died today + we were kicking him and he came back = kickban didnt work on him, he reconnected instantly (so no ip change)

I've played with a "D" a number of times with no problems (I think you found an impersonating griefer), this is why we need something where you can't get the same name as someone else (like what the new version of tjw is doing).
