Running Installer

Hey.
I found Tremulous on Ubuntu's Synaptics Package Manager and installed it and it works fine but I was wondering how to use the installer because the installed version I have is outdated and it says that I should download the installer to update it when I go on to servers.

I've tried using

Code Select Expand

sudo sh ~Desktop tremulous-1.1.0.installer.run
but it doesn't work.
I'm new to Ubuntu by the way. So don't really know much about it.
