What server was this?

I was playing a server I think it was called 000000...0000X and got banned for a week. I didn't do anything wrong, I just changed my name to troll C, and there were two other trolls on the server, troll A, and troll B. The ban message said I was related to nickthelovebot, and I was a possible "sock puppet" (what did he mean by that?). In truth I have nothing to do with these people, and I just want to be unbanned, this is the first time I played that server. Any help would be great! This all happened around 6:50 pm Saturday January 31st.

Number Five: I got slapped/kicked/banned/abused on I don't even know what server.

Please utilize Google and Urban Dictionary. Also, you may want to look at the stickies, before posting at a new forum. If you don't even know what server it was, why do you want to be unbanned there? And how are you going to find their website or admins? In truth, it is to rogl. Prepare for eye-rolls, flames and modmin castigation.

Welcome to the Forums. And, it appears, to the Internet. Next time, don't follow the crowd jumping off of the bridge. Maybe they knew (or were) the op.

If I may, I'd like to put a little different spin on this:

I'm glad you posted this here, now we can help you.  The "X" server that you were banned from is one that most of the Tremulous community ridicules for the insane amount of modding and noobery that goes on there.  Think of this ban as a godsend, something that will help push you to visit more legitimate servers.

I suggest visiting some of these servers:

Well thanks for the help, but I mentioned what server it was. I like DretchStorm I've played it a lot.

And how are you going to find their website or admins?

Thats why I posted here, so someone could direct me to their website, or forum or what ever.

I said I didn't know because I didn't know while I typed up my post. Its a minor detail but I shall explain. I couldn't remember what server it was since I was banned, what server I joined. Then I started up the game and remembered it was a server with a lot of zeros in front of it and bam, found the server. I did this all mid post so I just left it in.

I wasn't treated badly in the server at all, I think the server admin just got a bit hasty and confused.

TheOriginal:  For the future, please search the forums for the "Server Admin Contact" area, where many admins have listed a website or e-mail that you may contact them at.  It's a much better idea than posting here and riling up the natives (ie: The wrath of the Kaleo.)  Since this thread hasn't been locked or deleted, you might as well give us a heads-up once this issue has been resolved for you, so that Player1, Mooseberry, and myself can feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

It's good practice to post on the main tremulous forums, it gives players insight as to how the admins treat players on their servers before we attempt to visit them.
