Port/Connection Problem
« on: February 08, 2009, 11:29:22 pm »
Ok I have a fully set up Tremulous server running and I have ports running for 32123 and 30720 for TCP and UDP. I have the server running on Windows XP Pro. I also have windows Firewall Turned off and don't have any other external firewalls.

This is the problem: People can only connect to my server when I have the DMZ option for my router on. This has one of two things I don't need or want.

1) Everyone else connected to my router disconnects from it, like my bro's computer and my laptop.
2) DMZ allows everyone to screw my computer over easily.

So does anyone have a solution to this, or something for me to try.

If you need any other info. I shall grant it to you.

David

Any maps not in the MG repo?  Email me or come to irc.freenode.net/#mg.

I have tried their guide and even forwarded ports for quake3

I can still use the internet on my main server computer, but any other computer connected to it, has an IP address conflict when I have DMZ option on......
