The windows version is too in control for example:
start menu won't work
ctrl + alt + delete doesn't work
alt + tab doesn't work
windows + l doesn't work

It should just get out of full screen when you want to do one of those.

Also, if a server switches to a map you don't have an error comes up and takes you to the menu. Then your mouse pointer is gone.

Try ALT+RETURN

Old Quake3 engine issue, you just have to know what to hit to get what you want... ;)

This isn't windows specific - the linux version does this too.
