Using a combination of GTKradiant + 3dsmax to make the map. Just like in transit.

The skin on the portable generators is temp.

Texture set is a new one made by me. I'm also using q2 texture remakes I made some time ago.

Could you tell us more about the map, like setting, special things about the map, size etc...?  :)

I don't really use caulk. Only where it is absolutely required.

The story is: I just wanted to do a map like this. >_>

Some shots!

Human starting area. The terrain is temp.

Looking into the statue room.

The tyrant statue.

This one is going to buried in dirt.

The entire room.

It looks  great, maybe it is set in a place where the aliens are extinct but have been brought back to life for a theme park but the fences broke and the aliens escaped or something...

also, dont make it as slow as transit please!!!

well everyone thinks that alieins visited the egyptians so

maybe its like a temple and they have statues of aleins because they worshiped them...

altho i doubt aliens would not kill the humans at any chance they get xD

BUT damn that looks GOOOOOOD

keep of the great work man, cant wait to play beta!!!!!

Arcdig is going to have even bigger areas than transit. Har har har. >:]

They will, however, be much more optimized than in transit.

why the hell is it that all the map guides are done by people who have only had a little time mapping.  Why no guides by any of the pros? on other websites all i see it Use caulk , use clip , use this. but i dunno , they just dont seem quite right. why doesent some of the trem mappers write a guide?

There are plenty of quake3 mapping guides available across the internet. Anything that differs from those guides is available at the special Trem mapping guides that can be found in this forum.

Why reinvent the wheel again?

I'll be damned.
I hope the other mapers forgive me, but this map truely looks great and is imho the nicest I've seen so far.
I can't wait to check if it is as playable as the pics suggest.
