Top 5 Clan Leaders
« on: March 25, 2009, 09:31:53 am »
1. j-cool - He can recruit a bunch of unknown people, call it a clan, abandon it, scrim it, beat it, kill it, all in one day
2. Ozzy - Can't even keep his members under control and recruits clan hoppers.
3. StevenM - Doesn't even set a good example for his members. Flaming on spectators and isn't even active enough to be called a leader.
4. Quintin - Short temper, bad at leading scrims and is an overall dipshit
5. Sonic - Makes 10 clans in less than a 3 week period and expects his clan to be somewhat decent.

1. J-Cool: Uncle Sam and a bunny rabbit all wrapped up into one
2. Smokey: remains relevant since no one has expanded on his revolutionary ideas
3. Beerbastard: his hands-off approach serves his clan well
4. Quintin: juggles running a clan and spending time with his horses
5. Dracone: would be ranked higher if he was more like smokey

IF you want to make fun of every clan/player then do it good, and do it under your real nickname. Now you're just some unknown player who has too much time on his hands. Also, you're giving me the idea that you have no good friends other than that kid called 'tremulous'. You have nothing else to do then spending 4 hours a day in front of a computer to get some recognition which you don't get outside. (You know, outside, the place behind the window)

Was it a good guess?  :)

Smokey- kid doesn't fuck around. Gets good people to join, and then drives them to perform.

Dracone- kept the same bunch of guys content for 2 years.

BeerBastard- he manages to keep a clan strong and clean at the same time.

j-cool- while I don't know that he does much actual leading, his recruiting skills are second to none.

Amine- because he can keep highly skilled players on the same page and have them perform strats that other leaders could never convince them to do.

also, it's a good time to put this into effect:

To be honest, the only clan leader I ever felt totally at-ease clanning with was PowerOverwhelming.  We've had our share of differences, but ultimately he's a good guy.  I'm not gonna say anything negative here about some of the leaders I was less thrilled about playing with, but I guess if I was able to choose any clan-leader in Tremulous that I really WANTED to try playing with, it would be Amine.

(Obviously I haven't been with Pk that long, but I really like Jeff as a leader, and I have a good feeling that he'll shortly be one of my favs.)

3. Beerbastard: his hands-off approach serves his clan well

Though I might be out of place saying this, getting terminally and fataly ill normally qualifies as a good reason to take a break.

If anything you should admire that his clan didn't die in his absance, like any other clan would.

A) It's not terminal or fatal, that means you are going to die from it. Yes, it almost killed me though.
Let's not give the appearance I am dieing :P

Then I got busy with life, and I applaud the members of my clan that stuck through it. I had told them when I wouldn't be so busy and they were patient. Here we are.

Thanks tho power

Sorry, I meant more like it could be fatal and it is something that might be a continuel problem since you said it can occasionally flare up.

But yeah, probably not my place to say anything eitherway, just ignorance bugs me :P
