It takes a more solid leader than I was able to provide to lead a guild over a clan.  Since you can't just scrim and bitch fight and call it good :/

Yah the main purpose of our guild is basically to train members, then scrim against other clans, and give members of the community scrim experience. So kinda like Void.

Not quiet really, we had not intentions of scrimming, though our members were welcome to do it.

We were more about promoting trem outside of trem and then trying to set an image of respectability inside trem, but we pretty much failed to do anything.  Hopefully we'll make a comeback soon though, but two jobs and females seem to suck up my life way faster than I want :/

I'm fully behind supporting you guys though and if you ever need any help let me know ;O  Looks like you'll get a pretty active roster.

thanks, Annihilation. And ya, were pretty much doing what Elmo said, were going to work on tactics and training and such. We do what to expand eventually into getting some mapping and other developmental type stuff once we have the ability to that. And right now were focused mainly on player skills and scrimmages, hopefully we can really start working on that as soon as we get a server.

It really isn't a guild

Its a bunch of people who want to multiclan scrim.  You can't scrim clans as a guild.  Nobs.

All the existing guilds have had scrimmages with clans at one time or another... I don't see why this new one should be any different.

The difference is that a guild typically has more members than a clan, is less competetive in regards to scrimmaging, and usually has a mission statement or purpose attatched to it.  DRU is a fraternity of sorts, MG is a group of devs, Void was a bunch of people interested in promoting the game...

This guild is kind of similar to an idea I had after NT died.

This idea fell through the cracks, so I threw the name and tag at j-cool's face. In short, a I don't like the idea of a guild scrimming just because they want to scrim more. That basically means it's another clan. If the guild wants to help other learn to scrim, or improve the techniques they already have, it's fine. So unless there is some purpose to this guild, it basically is multi-clanning.

well guys, right now Stylesz is focused on new tactics, and teaching other clans/guilds/players these tactics, and we do scrim to test these tactics and make sure they work. If you see this is more then an excuse to multi-clan, and i assure you the original purpose had to though of scrimming intill we talked it over to see exactly what we were gonna do.

we have an upcoming tactic review match, as you can see on our news board( stylesz.zapto.org ) on the potatopatch @9pm EST, this is for guild members only so we can get the tactics down to teach others, your welcome to watch and add your opinions/idea's.

   Make sure to check the board at later dates, as we will be holding tactic review matches for anybody who's interested.

You should just create a server dedicated to training newbies. Give it a catchy name, use the boxes bring it high up the list and all those pollacks will come running.

I was expressing my anger at the fact that Bunny coerced me to join the guild and join the forums, and the first post I read is that Elmo decided to put a 14 year age minimum on the guild and that I was kicked effective immediately.  What I find especially weird is that its age based, not maturity based.  If I'd said I was 16, and lived up to it, I would still be in.

Once day, you said, "OMG MIND JOIN MY NEW GUILD STYLESZ.  WE RULE!"  I said ok. you said, "Ok, make a forum account"  I said ok.  you said "I'm giving you admin previleges"  I said Ok.  A few days later, I'm playing at AA, and you come on and say, "Mind, wear the tag more.  We need to be able to find you for scrims."  I said, Ok.  I wear the tag, and we scrim a bit over a few days.  Then, 2 nights ago, I go to Stylesz forums, just to see whats up, and I notice that I no longer have member flags, and I'm not on the roster.    I find a post in the general section called ".Mind Stab"

Here's what it said:

Duck, i new at the same time as Elmo you were you. which wasn't at the time somebody who wasn't me let you in, i never asked you to join, but when i heard you were let in i told you to register at our forums like Ive told every other member. I would suggest playing with us as much as possible, coming to our practice dates, proving your maturity to us, then actually applying.

   I at no point said anything like "OMG MIND JOIN MY NEW GUILD STYLESZ.  WE RULE!". Sorry for your misunderstanding.
