One friend played it for a month or 2, never got really good. 2 others have tried it and didn't like it, the rest just looked at the graphics and went 'ugh' lol

2 of mine became regular players for 3 months aprox.

Other 2 just kept on laughing about "that things that look like brown boxes on the wall".

one got kicked for building teslas outside the base and he doesnt play anymore, others didn't like it and said that it's too buggy (they mentioned dretch headbite and glitching.. oh and blaster dealing 900dmg i was wondering where they saw it....................... ) I told them that 1.2 will come soon fixing all those bugs, but they noticed that 1.1 is from 2006 But we still sometimes play (almost whole class) at school with softwareGL, 320x240 resolution and 10fps mhhhhh......................

My schoolmates don't play enough computer games to invest themselves/play regulary (in) a game like Tremulous.
I've never seen one "gam3rZ" addicted to FPS in my school (I heard that some people played CS 1.6), everybody prefer WoW/War3...

All of my friends who have tried Tremulous have a low opinion of it. One said that the whole concept of the aliens was retarded, the other said the "atmosphere" of the game was rubbish. I guess I'm the only sort who would play this kind of game.

I got one of my friends to regular Trem for a few months, but then his comp took an OMGSHIT.
A few of mine have tried it and left. One got vertigo when playing aliens, one didn't have internet access.

Everyone else just hates it because I ditch them for it.

I can't get anyone I know to try it. Most of the people I hang out with on campus prefer Steam-based games.

However if the question was reversed, "Are people who play Tremulous your friends" than without a doubt yes, I've made many friends through this game on many different levels.

A few of my friends tried it. One only plays when I ask him to, and he sucks. Another friend and his brother play kind of regularly, and they suck, and one more plays I think regularly and he is not TOO bad...

In my group of friends of about 10 boys, aproximately 4 of them play trem regularly. One of them can pwn all to shit on his touchpad as a human but sucks balls as aliens. The other 3 reckon It is a hell good game and are average at it.

I've gotten 4 or 5 to try it, only two ever really stayed and played and they both quit in 2007. I've gotten a few interested in the clan matches though they actually watched a few of them :O

one guy put up a server for me on his home server, loaned me another machine w/ VPN for root admin (ping=12 for both the XP godmod box & my MacBook, 802.11n, ftw!), he specc'd some & admin'd some, but nevah played

most of 'em are WWII squad-combat dewdz, if they even play gamez at all

I actualy got into the game from a friend. He got me intrested at about late 2007. I got a few friends to play. One didn't even last a month playing it, he sucked. My other friend played for roughly a few monthes. He was in a few clans with me, then eventually just quit and playing some RPG's. My friend that got me into it quit about 3-4 monthes of me playing it. I'm definatly glad that he told me about it, met some great people here(And some bad). But, most of the gamers at my school play TF2, Steam games. So, in conclusion, I'd say my friends hate the game.
