I recommend you getting/learning Photoshop or the Gimp (freely available) if you want to do this kind of stuff, there are plenty of tutorials available too =)

Not bad not bad at all Helix. Meh im not good on constructive critisism but here is what I have to say. Try to look up a tutorial on how to design banners. You could try taking what you learn from the tutorial and spice up the one you just posted.

thats not on paint. On paint you cant erase the back round and the text has a white box around it.
