Mike wasn't seen in the original story, at least not identified by name. However all the high ranking characters would have surely known who he was (John did).

And yes, most sections here on out are more or less intended to "fill the gap" between stories. If I ever do get to the sequel, it'll probably follow the first novel when I get it published.

       when i start reading them I cant stop i have maybe re-read all of them 5 or 6
       times I can truly say you have talent you are definitely good enough to get this
        published keep up the good work ill be keeping an eye out for more posts or novels anytime I enter a book
