one pilot was talking to the Guard of the captured alien
pilot: are we safe while that THING.. is near us?
guard: how many times Jackson.. we are SAFE as long as that thing stays in its box
pilot: how are we gonna get it out. and into the ship..
guard: the robots will do it now come on.. I'm thirsty

they left the ship

two v1.9 cargo robots specifically  designed for heavy/large objects they looked like cranes. large robotic cranes they picked up the large metal box something scuffled inside they heard an extremely muffled roar inside as robots do took no notice of that roar they pulled it out onto the docks they proceded to the lab

Lab 2 "biology and Research Of Alien Life Forms."
robot: here is your specimen Doctor Joseph.
Joseph: thank you robot drop it other there please.
robot: yes sir
the robots did what they were asked and left
Doctor Joseph knocked on the large metal box. no sound was heard
Joseph: that's strange these types of life usually are extremely aggressive to the slightest of noises
the Doctor called for 5 men with type 3 laser weapons (lasguns for short)
men: yes Doctor?
please guard the box i wish to have a look at the lifeform inside
men: are you sure that's wise?
Doctor: do not question your elders
men: yes SIR.
the Doctor openend the small window slot in the box
there was nothing in there.. just shadows.
Doctor: this cant be.. that box was sealed and locked where it was captured.. god ill make those infernal soldiers pay for letting my subject to escape on the very planet it was found on!
men: shall we get those soldiers?
Doctor: no.. no.. open the door surely theres nothing in there.. check the box
men: WHO.. yes sir
the opened the door the went inside
they did not notice a shimmer crawl past them it saw the Doctor sitting on a chair staring  intently at the soldiers it creaked closer to the Doctor
Doctor: well is there anything in there?!
men: no sir..
Doctor: i knew it don't send rookies to do a veterans job..
get me the commander
men: yes sir..
the men left
the door closed behind them
there was a soft growl behind the Doctor
Joseph: oh.. no
Joseph. NO NO NO NO!
the thing decloaked in front of him it looked like a very hellish thing indeed two large scythe like claws and backlegs with shorter but no less deadly claws it growled at him its mouth opening wide it snapped at him
Joseph: don't kill me NOOOOOOOOO!
it impaled him blood slithering down from the white jacket. it started chewing on the chewy morsel savouring every bite.. it had work to do

perhaps you want me to write a more detailed and literate description/storyline for your Gorgon.  Yes I have seen the image you drew and you may want to read some of my work before you decide. http://tremulous.net/forum/index.php?topic=11038.0
here is a quick preview: “Now you can shoot lightning? What planet kicked you out?” General Wilkinson chuckled. He threw the shotgun to his side and exchanged it in favor of the mass driver.

The time it took General Wilkinson to do this, was enough time for the Marauder to pounce from the floor, rebound off a wall and land over the soldier. It opened its jaws wide and the jagged teeth of the beast seemed to carry on forever. There must have been at least 16 rows of teeth. Its breath stank of rotting flesh and its saliva was a lovely shade of purple. The alien seemed to be sniffing Wilkinson as if it was searching for something. It was as if only one particular scent would tempt the Marauder to devour the General. It was looking for fear. General Wilkinson slid the barrel of his mass driver into the already gaping mouth of the alien. The cold steel must have angered it, because it clenched its teeth onto the weapon and let out a fearsome growl. It was like playing tug of war with a very determined Tyrannosaurus.

“I have no fear…” General Wilkinson exclaimed before sending a blast of deteriorated uranium into the monsters brain. The back of the Marauders head sprayed green blood and red scraps of flesh all across the control panel for the escape pods. The once gleaming chrome of the keypad was redecorated with red and green, which of course made a very distinct shade of shit. The keypad seemed to take its new color quite well. Of course, until it began to melt away. The acidic compound that the alien’s blood was comprised of seemed to eat away at the sturdy metal. In the time it took General Wilkinson to get to his feet and face the panel, it had melted away.
“You, stupid, meltifying, shit blooded, fucking alien!” General Wilkinson shouted at the top of his lungs.

Something must have heard him because he could no longer hear himself talking. Instead the sound of his voice was replaced with the thunderous booming of heavy footsteps. They seemed to echo throughout the entire compound for about 30 seconds before they suddenly stopped. What General Wilkinson heard next was even more terrifying then everything Wilkinson had encountered so far put together. When the pounding in Wilkinson’s ears stopped, he quite literally shat his pants at the next sound he heard. A gigantic roar that sounded like a baby from a black bear and a bull elephant echoed around the room and nearly burst his skull. He managed to establish that the sound had come from the corner that he had just come around. General Wilkinson smoothed out his shirt and reloaded his weapon.
