Freeze on "Find Friend"

Hello there.

I've been having a rather minor issue with my Tremulous client.

Whenever I use "Find Friend", to say, find my clan mates, my client freezes and forces me to reset my Xorg.
I've tired using FSM-Detonator, Tremfusion 9, and the MG client; none of this has fixed my issue.
I got the recommendation that it may be a HUD issue, so I have tried it with and without the Oticz HUD, neither of which have worked.

What could cause this?

I suppose I should be more specific, I never get to the Find Friend menu.

It freezes as soon as I click the text for "Find Friend".

At that moment it is trying to resolve server adresses and hangs. So, it is your network connection unless you completely fucked up some settings.

Tremulous remembers what search you did last and as soon as you click the text it starts searching. Thus, if you would be able to find the cvar for that and edit it out of the autogen.cfg, it might restore your ability to at least get to the menu itself.

What server addresses?  The only DNS the client needs to do is the master server, which will have been done by then.
