/video and /stopvideo to export to avi

I tried that. And then everything goes laggy untill i go /stopvideo and it says
'xx:xx frames were recorded
^     And then what?
| What that even mean anyway?

There's no avi file anywhere? where does it export to? whatzgoingonman?

Or is it something with me playing on a mac? is that it? Are mac users once again stuck with only the lesser features? Is Windows once again striking with the hand of differances in the same game? Am i making any sense here? Is tremulous now in the hands of PC users ONLY???!
