help whenever i start the program it says this:

What kind of video card do you have?  Could you list the make and model?  (i.e. ASUS Geforce 6800)

Steveo, the problem originates -- most likely -- from your card not being able to find Open GL drivers.  Open GL drivers are packaged with Nvidia driver releases.  My best suggestion is to download the latest drivers from Nvidia at:

http://www.nvidia.com

If that does not fix the problem, try uninstalling your drivers by using the add/remove programs function in Windows, rebooting, then reinstalling the latest drivers from Nvidia, rebooting a second time and trying again.

I'm assuming you're also running Windows operating system, correct?

No, if anything they can resolve conflicts.  You can always use the Windows System Restore feature to first backup your computer before installing.  That way, if the drivers for any reason cause issues, you can rollback to your previous settings.

If you're not in the U.S. you'll need to get one of the international driver packages.
