I just wanted to let server admins know there seems so be someone going around DDoS'ing servers. Mine just got hit, and I did some research and found X's got hit a week or so ago as well by the same ips: http://xserverx.com/dos-attack

So...yeah. Just lettin' everyone know. Watch your bandwidth levels

X server pinned the prior attacks on me, but I've seen similar udp traffic from the same IP towards my machines, and I've simply filtered it which has negated the effects more or less. The total force was ~8mbit incoming (plus a few IPs from Europe). I've filed reports as well.

sorry to go completely off topic here, but bacon556 is uber-high admin on your server, and he banded me for 10 minutes cuz i guess i kinda called him a moron

1) There were/are no rules about foul language on the server MOTD.
2) I didn't/don't use foul language.
3) The banning reason contained foul language.
4) You're a moron and should consult your doctor (if you know what that is) immediately.

Although we may have to simplify the language for him, you know, since he fits the medical description of the condition.
