How can I add textures?

How can I add more textures for GTKRadiant? I tried making a folder in base-1.1.0.pk3 and put them there but that just blew my game up...

This has been explained many times but I will answer again for your benfit.

1. Go into your tremulous base folder
2. If there isn't a folder called textures there then make one
3. Make a folder in textures and call it what you want
4. Put textures in the folder you made in step 3
5. Open GTK Radiant
6. Profit!!!
