tremulous is pretty popular with the whole linux crowd...mumble would be a way better option than vent, which I can easily host, but I doubt people would actually sign on...

i agree i use mumble because well vent doesnt have a linux client and teamspeak's one fails *hard*

but still if hes offering a vent server we shouldn't turn him away. im sure there's some servers that might be interested. you should really thank him for donating some channels for tremulous servers/etc its better than nothing and its free (definitely better if it was a mumble server but beggers cant be choosers).
