For Those Of You Looking For Hosting. . .

Lately I've noticed a few threads offering free forums, clan sites, etc so I thought I would share what I use. Recently found Zymic web hosting, and am using it for my clan's site (http://darknessclan.uuuq.com/).

• Mysql Databases
• FTP Access
• PHPMyAdmin
• Free sub-domain
• Ad Free!
• Unlimited Sites

So far I have yet to experience any downtime with it, there are absolutely no ads, whatsoever, and it is fully customizable, just as a standard site would be. All TLD names work there and they offer free TLD names to the site that has the highest traffic level each week or month (not entirely sure at what intervals they have the drawings).

Anyway, thought I would throw this out there, think it's a pretty good find for all of you with some knowledge in the area of web design as well as those who are inexperienced.

Anything that is too good to be true, usually ain't true. Though the catch may show delayed, it will some day. Otherwise this is some sort of charity. Which seems a bit unlikely.

But whatever.

That's what I assumed as well, so far I have yet to see any of those problems, and on top of that the customer support has been excellent.

I experienced so much downtime on it once I only used it for a little while before I gave up and changed.

How long ago did you use it? Like I said before, I haven't experienced any downtime whatsoever.

After a minute I haven't uploaded 104KB directory yet.

It looks like it gets its profit from their site, users have to go there to use their admin panel ect, and the main site is spammed with ads and hotlinks and those "free template" sites.  They also sell pre-coded sites and other stuff.  I don't know if they sell it or if its another ad though.  I haven't ever tried them, but it looks fairly reliable.

I'm pretty sure all of the profit comes from web design, the other links are ads I assume.

Last month they had extensive downtime due to a server upgrade, so that may be what you noticed.
